Fans of The Big Friday Show will be enthralled when it debuts a new season on MTV Base Channel 322 on Friday April 29, 2016.

The revamped show has been changed to The Bigger Friday Show with singer, rapper, actor, model, ambassador and lawyer, Folarin ‘Falz’ Falana, as its host.
Falz the Badt Guy will be taking over from comedian, Basketmouth who was the lesser show’s previous host.
The
singer is expected to infuse his youthful ambiance and humorous
personality into the show as everyone expects it to be a hit.

The
organizers have also assured its millions of viewers that their Friday
nights henceforth will be different, fun-filled and always worth looking
forward to as its past editions of The Big Friday Show featured parody
videos, celebrity pranks and entertainment news highlights.
Folarin
Falana, 25, better known by his stage name Falz is a Nigerian rapper
who began his career while in secondary school after forming a group
called “The School Boys” with his friend before his professional career
as a music artiste began in 2009.
He shot into limelight after his
song titled “Marry Me” (featuring vocals from Poe and Yemi Alade) won
him a nomination in the “Best Collaboration of The Year” category at the
2015 Nigeria Entertainment Awards.
With Falz’s The Bigger Friday
Show, the producer’s modus operandi include to ‘enhance audience
participation and interaction from especially young African audiences,
producers of the show are encouraging participation in the #BFSChallenge
as interested viewers can be part of it by submitting personalized
content on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter using the hashtag
#BFSChallenge’.
Falz had earlier been rumored to be dating Nollywood actress Funke Akindele
after they both won at the just concluded Africa Magic Movies Award
(AMAA) as Best Actor (Comedy) – Folarin Falz Falana for “Jenifa’s Diary”
and Best Actress (Comedy) – Funke Akindele for “Jenifa’s Diary”.

The
Bigger Friday Show promises to be a combination of ‘entertainment and
comedy’ and is a new campaign spearheaded by MTV Base called ‘My Life,
My Base’.
He was also nominated in the “Best Rap Act of The Year”
and “Best New Act to Watch” categories at the same event. He currently
owns an independent record label called Bahd Guys Records.
Falz is
undisputedly one of the fastest rising stars in Nigeria and his stint
in Jenifa’s diary has positioned him for a life as an actor should he
choose.
